Ámérizkunxa, the Dream Language
[ʔá.mɛ́.ʁis'kun.t͡ʃa]
Ámérizkunxa is a naturalistic conlang meant to be a sibling language to Basque. I'm its creator, but its genuine owner doesn't want me to reveal too much about her conculture, so I'll keep very technical about this one.
Contrary to Basque, Ámérizkunxa is rather a fusional language, although verbs tend to agglutinate. Like Basque, its morphosyntactic alignment is primarily ergative-absolutive. Its directionality is head-first, but the head is the theme, not the grammatical core word. For example, « old man » translates as zauhaj, which is the contraction of ohahų zauo : the theme, the main idea, is that the man is old (zauo), not that he is a man (ohahų). So the head is the adjective.
